Our privacy notice, cookie notice and legal notice (mentions légales) — the documents that govern your use of this website and the way we handle personal data.

Privacy notice

Last updated September 2026 — version 2.0

This notice explains how GENTIS Partners collects, uses and protects personal data. It is provided to meet our obligations under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679, "GDPR") and the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection ("FADP").

1. Who we are

GENTIS Partners AG is the controller of personal data collected through this website and in the course of the firm's activities. GENTIS Partners AG is a company limited by shares (Aktiengesellschaft) incorporated under Swiss law, entered in the commercial register of the Canton of Zug under CHE-283.846.366, with registered office c/o Caminada Treuhand AG, Alpenstrasse 14, 6300 Zug, Switzerland.

GENTIS Partners AG forms part of the wider GENTIS Partners group. Other entities within the group act as controllers in their own right in relation to particular relationships and investment vehicles. Where that is the case, the relevant entity identifies itself and provides its own privacy information at the point that relationship begins.

If you have any questions about this notice, or wish to exercise your rights, please write to us at enquiries@gentispartners.com.

We have assessed our obligations under Article 37 GDPR and concluded that we are not required to appoint a Data Protection Officer. All data protection enquiries should be directed to the address above.

We collect personal data from the following groups of individuals:

3. How we use your data, and our legal basis

We process personal data for the following purposes:

We do not carry out automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal effects on you.

4. Who we share data with

We share personal data only where necessary, with the following categories of recipient:

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

5. International transfers

We are established in Switzerland. The European Commission has recognised Switzerland as providing an adequate level of protection for personal data, and Switzerland has in turn recognised the states of the European Economic Area, so personal data moves between Switzerland and the EEA without the need for additional safeguards.

Some of our service providers are located in the United Kingdom and the United States. Where personal data is transferred to a country that has not been recognised as providing adequate protection, we rely on appropriate safeguards — typically the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, together with the Swiss and UK addenda where applicable.

6. How long we keep data

We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes set out above and to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations. In particular:

7. Your rights

Subject to the conditions set out in the applicable legislation, you have the right to:

To exercise any of these rights, please write to enquiries@gentispartners.com. We will respond within one month, although that period may be extended by a further two months for complex requests.

If you are in the European Economic Area, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority, or with the Luxembourg Commission nationale pour la protection des données (CNPD) where Luxembourg law applies. If Swiss data protection law applies to you, you may contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) in Bern.

8. Changes to this notice

We will update this notice when our processing activities change. The date at the top of the notice will reflect any changes.

What happens when you contact us

If you select the contact link on our website, your own email client opens a draft message addressed to us. We capture no data through the website itself. Your message is sent through your usual email service and reaches us through Microsoft 365. The handling of personal data contained in any email you send us is described in our privacy notice above.

What happens at the network level

When you visit any website, your browser exchanges technical information, including your IP address, with the site's host so the page can be delivered to you. This website is hosted on Netlify; this exchange is necessary for the site to work. Netlify acts as our hosting service provider and processes such technical data only to deliver the website to you. We do not retain or analyse this data ourselves.

To display our typography, the site also requests font files from Bunny Fonts, operated by BunnyWay d.o.o. in Slovenia. Bunny Fonts is a privacy-focused font service that does not log requests, does not set cookies and does not retain IP addresses. Its service is hosted within the European Union.
